Teacher of the Year Nomination Process

We’re excited to open the Teacher of the Year (TOY) and Educational Service Professional of the Year (ESPOY) nomination process for 2025–26 in alignment with the NJDOE timeline. Your voice matters—families and students see our educators in action every day, and your nominations help us recognize those making an extraordinary impact.

Key Dates:

Nomination window opens: Monday, September 15, 2025
Nomination window closes: Monday, November 10, 2025

How to Nominate:

Submit a nomination here: [Nomination Form – Teacher/ESPOY]
You may nominate any Holmdel educator or educational service professional who has made a meaningful difference for your child, family, or our school community.
On the form, please share specific examples of the nominee’s impact (classroom experiences, support provided, collaboration, innovation, or commitment to student growth).

Eligibility Highlights:

Nominees must be current Holmdel staff in good standing.
Per NJDOE guidance, prior recipients are eligible after five years have passed since earning a school, county, or state TOY/ESPOY title.
